We'd like to be at our best all the time, but sometimes life is just hard.

While we may learn, grow, and end up better people at the end of some of life's challenging times, the truth is that we are not usually at our best during them....especially when those times are prolonged.

Believers...those wonderful "someones" who not only inspire us to dream but also ignite the courage to turn those dreams into realities. We have to appreciate the special folks who say "Why not?" instead of "Why?" and "Have fun!" instead of "Be careful!"

The gift of attention... unhurried, undivided, focused attention... is one of the best gifts we can give!

Cheers to the Encouragers ... those wonderful folks who affirm, acknowledge, admire, appreciate and shower us with affection... where would we be without them?!

One thing we all have in common is the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of other people. And, whether it be for better or worse, we WILL make a difference, because attitude is greatly influenced by association.

I like what Jim Rohn said: "Some people you can afford to spend a few minutes with but not a few hours." How true!

The turning point of our lives often comes at the encouragement of someone who believed in us, who took the time and maybe even the risk to give part of himself.
